Hello....thought i would share with you a recent make i did for a new baby in the family called Alfie.
The bunting is made from pre-cut thick card, which i bought at the weekend form the beautiful Port Sunlight stampers show. i then cut to size some baby blue paper I had and then sanded the edges which removes any ruff edges and shows the white core of the paper. Next i painted the wooden letters using chalk paint and dabbed the edges with a blue colour. I added a bit of fux stitching around the edges and then threaded through some garden twine and added a couple of bows at the beginning and end of the bunting.
Here is the card i made for him using
lili of the valley stamps and using the same paper i used for the bunting, so everything was matching. The image was coloured using promarkers and i added baby blue glitter from stickles around the edging of the image.
